Three New Digital-only Reissues from 2006/11

Three digital reissues at Bandcamp, just in time for Bandcamp Friday, have all been unavailable for ten or more years. "Asian Noise Collaborations", from 2011, explores the noise aesthetic with artists from Asia outside of Japan. Collaborating with PBK are Dickson Dee, Rolf Wong (both from Hong Kong), and Xü Hai Mie (from Singapore). The ten-minute untitled noise/montage piece (#4) by PBK and R/E/D was featured in Drunken Boat issue #14. The collaboration with Josh Lay is also from 2011 and was formerly released on the Syndrom Records label in the UK. "The Channel That Feeds" is from a split CDR release (with Adam Mokan) on Cohort Recordings from 2006. Delving into the micro>macro atmospheric soundscapes of ambient music, Klampe defied conventional categorization by employing an array of enigmatic and indefinable sounds to craft his compositions. New PBK Digital Reissues

Fourteen new digital albums are now released at the PBK Bandcamp site, most of them reissues of former tape and CD releases, all with new graphic images. One of the albums, "91/93" presents unreleased and alternate tracks from the years denoted in the title. Another, the live radio performance in 2003 of PBK & Roe, has never been released until now. The rest of them span from 2009 - 2017. There are full-length collaborations with Anla Courtis, Hal McGee, Clew Of Theseus, and Warmth. "Mutation Theory" contains live radio broadcasts from Detroit and Ann Arbor of PBK on-air mixes using the audio sources of AMK, Scott Krauss (Pere Ubu), Nocturnal Emissions, Wolf Eyes, Anla Courtis, and Mystified. The "MIchigan Subterranean Vol 1" release contains solo compositions by Knox Mitchell, Joshua McAbee and PBK.
