REVIEW: "A collaboration between two of modern experimental music's more inventive sound sculptors, 'Five Manifestoes' is what could be termed 'ambient noise', as these are two artists who manipulate and process natural and synthetic sound into new configurations. 'Manifesto One' is a grating wall of piercing tones, while 'Manifesto Four' is a fleeting sky of atmosphere-soothing but hinting at a storm on the horizon. While this work retains aspects of both artists' solo work, the whole is obviously a collaboration, with both artists having an equal contribution to the tracks. Fans of either artist will find this a fulfilling experience, and though this is an abstract type of sound construction, bits and pieces of structure seem to creep through the tense and often abrasive atmospherics. A marvelous recording and more than recommended." (Godsend)
